Suzuki GB was delighted to learn recently that all supported team riders will feature in the prestigious Motocross of Nations event, to be held in Italy this October.
With 35 nations competing in the most renowned motocross event on the calendar, Suzuki GB teams will support no-less than four nations. With MVR-D Suzuki’s Carl Nunn the most recent rider to be confirmed on the British team, his team-mate Mattis Karro will be riding for Latvia with the Relentless Suzuki MX squad of Martin Barr and Scott Columb confirmed for the Irish and New Zealand teams respectively.
Suzuki GB marketing manager, George Cheeseman, commented, "It’s extremely pleasing to learn that all of our supported British championship riders will compete at this year’s event in Italy. As well as this reaffirming the strength and ability of our team riders, it’s also very pleasing to know that Suzuki machinery will be used in anger at such an important event."
In the British team, Carl Nunn lines up alongside Brad Anderson and Tommy Searle, with Martin Barr flying the Irish flag with Graeme Irwin and Stuart Edmonds. For Latvia Mattis Karro will ride with Ivo Steindergs and Lauris Freibergs with Scott Columb representing New Zealand alongside Josh Coppins and Michael Phillips.
As well as the Suzuki GB team riders, Suzuki machinery will be used by many other nations at this years event.
The Motocross of Nations takes place on 3rd and 4th October at Franclacorta in Italy.
