Mandy Lee of Derby had good reason to be smiling last week as she collected the keys to her brand-new GSX-R1000 from Pidcock Motorcycles in Derby, after being drawn as the lucky winner from Suzuki GB’s year-long competition.

Already an owner of a 2005 model GSX-R1000, Mandy was overjoyed to be told she had scooped Suzuki’s top prize of the year after entering the competition at the Donington Park British Superbike round back in May.

Upon collecting her new GSX-R, Mandy commented, “I couldn’t believe it when I had the phone call to say I’d won. I’ve been a Suzuki rider for several years, and I’d been thinking of upgrading my 2005 model to the new one, so this really is a dream come true”.
