Suzuki GB PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Yasuharu Osawa as the companies new managing director for powered two-wheel, ATV and marine products.

Working for the Suzuki Motor Corporation for the last 25 years, Mr Osawa has considerable experience having held numerous positions in all areas of the motorcycle and ATV business for Suzuki Worldwide.

Most recently the group leader for European marketing in the overseas motorcycle marketing department, he has valuable experience at subsidiary level too, having held the position of managing director at Suzuki France from 1998 – 2003.

Upon appointment to his new role Mr Osawa commented, "I am very pleased to join the team at Suzuki GB. The UK is a very important market for Suzuki, which is performing extremely well currently. I am very honoured to take on this new role at such an exciting time for the brand".

Mr Osawa joins the rest of the Suzuki GB team in their first full day of operation at the new Milton Keynes facility today, having moved from their Crawley base of 25 years last week.
