Suzuki has launched a brand new website dedicated to the V-Strom 1000, ahead of the all-new adventure bike’s arrival in 2014.

With the new model taking design inspiration from the DR Big series, the new site charts the history of the iconic Dakar racer and subsequent V-Strom models, as well as featuring design sketches and information on the current concept model.

In the coming months, the site will be further updated with more information on the forthcoming production model, as well as video features and interviews with key designers and engineers who have been involved with the project.

Suzuki GB’s General Manager Paul de Lusignan said,"The V-Strom 1000 Concept model was very well received when we exhibited it at Motorcycle Live last year, and we’re delighted to now bring this website to people’s attention. With this new site scheduled for regular updates over the coming months, those eagerly awaiting the new 2014 V-Strom 1000 can now keep up to date with the progress of the production model."

First unveiled at Intermot last year, the current concept model made its UK debut at Motorcycle Live with visitors to the stand invited to share their opinions and feedback ahead of the final production model, which is set to make an appearance at this year’s Motorcycle Live show.
