Team Relentless Youth Academy rider James Dunn became the small-wheel 85cc ACU British Supercross Champion at the weekend as he took the overall win at the final round of the series held at the O2 stadium in London.
Winning his qualifier, it came down to a two horse race between James and Ben Watson, with James setting the pace early-on and crossing the line with the win and the championship title.
Relentless Youth Academy manager Paul Butler commented, “Congratulations to James. His consistency has been his biggest asset in pursuit of this championship and I’m sure this will only build his confidence as we move to the outdoor season”.
And it wasn’t just James that flew the flag for the academy as Ryan McClean enjoyed race success at Wieldon Lane in the senior class on his RM125, and Luke Dean took two race wins at the Southern Valley qualifier at Hawkesbury Upton.
