Following its recent management restructure, Suzuki GB PLC has today announced the appointment of Jonathan Martin to the post of national sales manager for the two-wheel division, promoting the 39 year-old from within the business.

Joining Suzuki GB in 2008, and holding the position of area sales manager since, Martin brings vast experience to the role thanks to time spent in motorcycle retail, a tenure in a similar area manager position at another manufacturer for seven years, while also hailing from a family engrained in the motorcycle industry.

Paul de Lusignan, general manager, commented, "I’m absolutely delighted to announce Jonathan’s promotion to the role of National Sales Manager. With the recent restructure at senior management level, we were keen to bring a dynamic and experienced individual from within our existing sales team but at the same time add confidence and stability for the dealer network with a familiar face. With Jonathan’s experience and his proven record as an area manager for Suzuki, we believe he will be the driving force required in these tough times."

Jonathan begins his tenure on 1st September, while the dealer area coverage will be revised to four areas, handled by the remaining area managers.
