Suzuki GB has appointed Jon Coles as its dealer development general manager across motorcycle, automobile, marine, and ATV.
He takes over the department from his predecessor, Mark Hallam, who retired from the company in March of this year.
As part of the Suzuki’s senior leadership team, Coles has a team of eight and is responsible for all aspects of network development including onboarding of new dealers, sales training, regular mystery shop customer experience exercises, and corporate identity.
Joining Suzuki GB in 2007, Coles brings a total of 25 years’ brand experience to the role, having worked within the dealer network from 1999, where he held numerous positions including technician and service manager.
He first joined the aftersales division at Suzuki GB as technical coordinator before progressing to the role of regional sales manager and then technical manager.
More recently, he held the position of general manager of aftersales services. In that role, he was instrumental in the creation and launch of Suzuki’s Service Activated Warranty scheme.
