Suzuki GB has confirmed attendance at this year’s Shropshire Bike Fest, in conjunction with dealers David Jones Motorcycles and Wylie and Holland Motorcycles.

A wide range of models will be on display, including the new GSX-R1000, the highly regarded V-Strom 650 ABS, and the award winning GSR750, and with both dealers hosting test rides over the course of the day, you can try almost all of the range on the road, too.

Wylie and Holland Dealer Principal, Cliff Holland, said ahead of the event, "It’s a good event to get to, most certainly. And hopefully, with the current economic climate too, it will bring people in to have a look at alternatives to cars and look at good commuter machines, and bring them in to start to enjoy bikes. The Suzuki range has good commuters like the Gladius, the GSR750, and we’re bringing along a VanVan too, so there is going to be a lot to test ride. Any event that attracts people to motorcycling is a worthwhile cause, and hopefully the weather stays good for us at weekend."

David Jones of David Jones Motorcycles also said, "It’s going to be a great show and it’s been a terrific effort from Suzuki. With it being free entry you’ll definitely want to come along; we’ll have bikes from small capacity learners to the bigger bikes for more experienced riders, and the show, which has been well promoted by organisers, will hopefully do well to promote motorcycles as a viable method of transport."

Held at the Meole Brace Park and Ride, The Shropshire Bike Fest boasts free entry, as well as free parking for bikes. There’s also the chance to have a go at some Motogymkhana, and live music throughout the event.
