Suzuki GB presented no-less that 11 dealerships with awards at its 2016 annual dealer conference, held at the Metropole Hotel at the NEC in Birmingham, with the proud recipients of its long service awards notching up a combined 260 years of service.

The finale to the brand’s annual dealer conference, the black-tie event on the eve of Motorcycle Live, celebrated key dealer achievements in 2016, with recognition across the entire business.

For long service awards, Padgett’s Motorcycles (Batley) and Frettons Motorcycles had the honour of collecting awards for an incredible half a century of service, while Ford and Ellis Motorcycles marked 40 years. KC Superbikes in Carlisle celebrated 30 years, while both Mission Motorcycles and Fraser’s Motorcycles marked 20 years as authorised Suzuki dealers. Five more dealerships were presented with awards for service, with Motoden, Saltire Suzuki, A&M Motorcycles, Daytona Motorcycles, and 5-Ways Motorcycle Centre all celebrating a decade of commitment.

Away from the long service awards, Haslemere Motorcycles picked up the coveted Sales and Marketing award, while Alford Bros were presented with the Aftersales dealer of the year award.

The customer service satisfaction award went to Castledine Motorcycles in Leicester while Smalley Cross won the very first Small Bike dealer of the year award. Ruislip-based Daytona Motorcycles collected the gong for Accessory Sales dealer of the year, while Wheels Motorcycles in Peterborough were awarded with the Suzuki finance award. Best SV650 dealer of the year went to Streetbike in Birmingham.

Suzuki GB general manager, Paul de Lusignan, said, “This year’s conference was a great opportunity to reflect on the year we’ve had, and recognise the successes of many of our dealerships. To hand out long service awards that total 260 years makes me really proud, and reflects the working relationship we enjoy with our dealerships. Not only that, it was fantastic to also be able to recognise other achievements across the board, and hand out a number of dealer of the year awards in various categories. As always, it was great to see so many dealers in attendance, and brilliant to be able to unwind after the conference and enjoy something to eat and drink. With the new models and plans we have for 2017, I think we’re all in for a prosperous year.”
