Suzuki GB and the Swift Motocross Team, today announced the end of their partnership in the World and British Motocross Championships.
Following a two-year partnership, the John Banks Group backed team and the UK subsidiary for Suzuki, harmoniously agreed to end their association in motocross as both look towards different challenges in 2009.
Suzuki GB’s George Cheeseman commented, "We’ve enjoyed two good years with the Swift team, but for 2009 both us and the John Banks Group look to different challenges. It’s fair to say Justin and Mark Banks put together a great team, and under the guidance of Jonathan Wright have brought a whole new level of professionalism to the British paddocks. I’d certainly like to thank the whole team for their efforts and support over the last two years and wish them the best of luck for the future.
Suzuki GB will announce its 2009 racing plans at forthcoming Dirt Bike Show, held at Stoneleigh from 13th – 16th November 2008.
