Suzuki GB PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of its all-new marketing team, as the company completes its final phase of relocation from its Crawley base of nearly 25 years, to the all-new purpose-built facility in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
With the doors at Crawley due to finally close on the 27th July, the new team has come on-board prior to the move for intensive product training before starting at the new Milton Keynes facility.
Headed by new marketing manager Paul de Lusignan, the new team made up of George Cheeseman (on-road product coordinator), Richard Gregg (off-road product coordinator) and Clair Procter (marketing coordinator) have an abundance of automotive and marketing experience at both manufacturer and dealership levels.
With over 20 years experience in the automotive field,
Paul de Lusignan joins as Suzuki GB marketing manager. Most recently an account director for a major car brand, Paul has worked in many aspects of the automotive industry and has been a keen motorcyclist for many years, most recently on his own GSX-R750.
Supporting Paul with on-road product coordination is George Cheeseman. A recent graduate, George spent 12 months on a work experience placement inside the marketing department of a large motorcycle manufacturer, as well as a part-time retail job at a large franchised motorcycle dealer.
Working in a similar role, but with two-wheel off-road and ATV products is Richard Gregg. Working in sales at dealer level for the last eight years, Richard is also a keen motorcyclist, races a Suzuki SV650 and is looking forward to his new role in off-road.
Coordinating many aspects of the new marketing department will be Clair Procter. With experience at a large marketing agency most recently, Clair is well qualified to handle the many areas of organisation within the department.
Upon announcing the new marketing team, sales and marketing director Nick Palmer commented, "I am delighted to be able to announce these appointments. All four have extensive experience in various aspects of industry, which I believe will help us move the Suzuki brand forward further in the future.
