Suzuki will make a return to the hotly contested enduro market later this year, with the introduction of the all-new RMX450Z. Based on the iconic RM-Z450 motocross machine, the new enduro model features a re-engineered version of the legendary 450cc race engine, while retaining fuel injection with the added bonus of electric start too.
As well as featuring the proven Kehin fuel injection system from the RM-Z, the new RMX is specifically developed for enduro action, featuring re-tuned suspension, a lighting kit (thanks to its standard magneto generator) and an enduro friendly 18 inch rear wheel.
Suzuki GB’s David Taylor commented, "The RMX450Z is a very significant new bike for our 2010 range. The public have been asking us for this bike at shows and dealers for sometime now, so we are delighted to bring it to the market, and with such a great specification. Features like the electric start with kick included too and the 18-inch rear wheel, show that this is a bike developed especially for enduro from the factory and not just a converted motocross machine. On top of the chassis features, the fuel-injected 450cc engine is sure to make this one of the most competitive machines available next season."
With a recommended retail price to be confirmed, Suzuki GB expect the new RMX450Z to arrive in the autumn of this year.
