Suzuki is looking to further expand its dealer network at this year’s Motorcycle Expo – which takes place at Stoneleigh Park on 15-17 January – with a particular focus being paid to its small capacity network as the Japanese brand is set to introduce six new sub-400cc machines in 2017.
A new GSX-R125 offers a brand new entry-point into the legendary range of sports bikes, while a new GSX-S125 further enhances the firm’s learner offerings. The GSX250R and highly anticipated V-Strom 250 also bolster Suzuki’s commuter and small capacity range, while two new scooters are introduced in the form of a new Burgman 400 and Burgman 200.
Suzuki is also introducing two new flagship GSX-R1000 models for 2017 and a new member of the GSX-S family with its GSX-S750 machine. The V-Strom range is also comprehensively revamped, with an updated, range-topping V-Strom 1000 that now gets cornering ABS and an off-road focussed XT variant, as well as a new V-Strom 650 and V-Strom 650XT.
Suzuki GB dealer development manager, Ian King, said, “2017 is set to be a fantastic year for us and our dealers. We’re introducing 13 new models into the UK market, including the two GSX-R1000 models that are stealing headlines, and also the GSX-S750 and new V-Strom range. But we are offering both dealers and customers even more variety in the small capacity segment. With six new models joining the existing Address, VanVan 125, and VanVan 200, we are providing more opportunities for small bike dealerships to expand the range of models in their showrooms and maximise sales opportunities when it comes to new and experienced riders alike. We welcome the opportunity to talk to potential new dealerships on our stand at the show.”
Suzuki can be found at this year’s Motorcycle Expo on stand A32.
