Suzuki GB’s first-ever sales guild has been hailed a great success by the firm’s Paul de Lusignan, with Jason Brunt of Streetbike in Halesowen victorious over 400 other entrants.
Whittled down to just five finalists, the competition saw Suzuki dealer sales staff evaluated on the complete sales process, focussing on their customer service qualities, knowledge on the Suzuki brand and general efficiencies in the job.
Paul de Lusignan, general manager, sales, for Suzuki GB commented, “Without a doubt, our first sales guild has been a great success. Naturally it’s been interesting to assess the quality of sales staff within the dealer network, but it’s also served as a great way of focussing working practices too. I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate all five finalists, and of course our eventual winner Jason Brunt, who like his fellow competitors demonstrated outstanding knowledge of the Suzuki brand with specific attention focussed on the customer.”
Invited to a final day of assessment in front of a panel of judges, the finalists were asked to perform a customer satisfaction presentation to the panel, before being subjected to intense questioning on product knowledge and a customer handover procedure.
Eventual winner, Jason Brunt, commented, “I was naturally delighted to win but also a little shocked too. The competition was fierce, as was the questioning in the final, but we pride ourselves at Streetbike for our product knowledge, while always striving to meet and exceed customer expectations, so it’s great to be acknowledged in this way.”
Also joining Jason in the final and highly commended was colleague Alex Hogg of Streetbike, as well as Jo Evans of Garland Motorcycles, Kurt Harmer of GS Motorcycles, and Eamon Keane of JS Motorcycles.
