Suzuki will be bringing more exciting features to this year’s Motorcycle Live – which takes place from 18-26 November at the NEC in Birmingham – including a return of the popular ‘elbow down’ bike.

Among attendees’ favourite ‘have-a-go’ features of the 2016 show, the ‘elbow down’ GSX-RR machine allowed visitors to the Suzuki stand to find out just how low MotoGP racers get while racing at the highest level. For 2017 the feature will return but with Suzuki’s new GSX-R1000, which is directly developed from the firm’s MotoGP racer and enjoyed success in 2017. The new sportsbike won at the Isle of Man TT, in BSB and the National Superstock 1000 championship, and took titles in MotoAmerica and Australian Superbike. Suzuki will again also share photos of visitors taking part across its social media channels.

Visitors to Motorcycle Live will be able to see Suzuki’s full, 2018 model range, which includes the V-Strom 650 and V-Strom 1000, as well as the new V-Strom 250. The new GSX-S125 and GSX-R125 will also feature, along with their larger capacity siblings, including the GSX-S1000 and GSX-R1000.

The very GSX-R1000 that won that prestigious Senior TT on the Isle of Man, in the hands of Michael Dunlop, will take centre stage as part of Suzuki’s race bike display, which will also feature Richard Cooper’s race-winning Bennetts Suzuki Superstock 1000 machine, Bradley Ray’s Buildbase Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbike. Suzuki’s GSX-RR MotoGP machine will also feature. There will also be a display of classic bikes, that will include the GSX-R750F restored at Motorcycle Live 2015 and the GSX-R1100L restored by Suzuki’s apprentices. Suzuki will also display a GT380 and RG500 Gamma, while classic race machinery displayed will include a Team Classic Suzuki XR69 and an RGV250 XR94.

For visitors looking to take a break from walking around the halls, Suzuki’s ‘coffee shop’ will again be offering free teas and coffees to those looking to take the weight off their feet for half an hour. With seating available, fresh drinks will be served from the British Superbike race truck.

Stocking the newest lines from Suzuki’s clothing ranges and merchandise collections will be the Suzuki Shop. Open for the duration of Motorcycle Live, visitors can buy everything from leisure tees and hoodies, to the latest race team wear and vintage lines. There are also kids items and merchandise including belts, watches, and wallets.
