Supporting King, who himself joined Suzuki GB in 2015 as part of a focussed restructure for the brand to breed a new and improved culture in business development, Solven’s key responsibility involves liaising with new and existing dealers as the main point of contact directly from the Milton Keynes HQ.
Upon announcing the new appointment, King commented, “Lucy’s appointment is crucial in our ongoing improvement to dealer development and standards. Her entire career has been served within the automotive industry and her knowledge of the industry should give dealers confidence, while allowing us to expand and strengthen the motorcycle dealer network.”
With the business development team strengthened by the new appointment, Suzuki GB’s motorcycle network has already seen a positive impact with over 15 new appointments in the last 12 months, with several more open points throughout the UK still available.
“We’re committed to not just growing our network, but strengthening it too”,continued King. “With the introduction of our small bike franchise in recent years, we’ve been able to appoint appropriate dealers in the right areas, making sure we’re serving customers the right way. Crucially, we see dealer development as an ever-evolving process, so would be delighted to talk with interested dealers regardless of where they are or what they specialise in”.
