Suzuki’s annual All-Star track day returns to Silverstone for 2016, with this year’s event taking place on the prestigious Grand Prix circuit on August 11.
The event has become a key feature of Suzuki’s event calendar, and will again be attended by a host of special guests, including Bennetts Suzuki’s Ryuichi Kiyonari and Tommy Bridewell.
Joining the British Superbike stars will be Motovudu founder and former 500GP race-winner, Simon Crafar,former World and British Superbike racer-turned-commentator,James Whitham, and three-time British Superbike champion,John Reynolds.
All riders will be on hand to offer riding tips and advice throughout the day, and also provide some free on-track instruction. There will also be a free goody bag for all who attend.
Suzuki GB Marketing Manager, Rob Cooper, said,“After three consecutive years using Silverstone’s International circuit layout, which is still a superb track, we’re delighted to be able to announce that we’re returning to Silverstone for our 2016 track day, but this time we’ll be using the full Grand Prix circuit. It’s a great event every year, and we always look forward to getting out on track with customers, and it’s great for us mere mortals to be able to get some instruction from the people that do this for a living too, so we’re really looking forward to it.”
Donna Ibbott, Head of Motorcycling at Silverstone,said, “We are delighted to welcome Suzuki back to Silverstone this year, especially as the riders attending the track day will experience the GP circuit that the factory Suzuki MotoGP™ riders Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargaro will race on the following month”
The 2016 Suzuki All-Star track day will take place on August 11, with spaces availableat £199 per person.Riders on the day will be split into three groups.
